Mallika Sherawat to throw bash for gay friends in Malibu

Mallika Sherawat, who is termed sex goddess in Bollywood industry and even the Hollywood fraternity and international media too coin the same term for this dusky-curvy damsel, has come up for the support of homosexuals. In Hollywood, we often witness the support from almost the entire Hollywood industry for the gays (homosexuals). This is because that this thing has penetrated into their culture and they are the part of this system. Every other Hollywood celeb announce his/her sexuality as gay every other day – many have turned to homosexuality and a lot are turning. US states are making the gays’ marriage legal. Hollywood celebs are people from other walks of life support gays thoroughly. Thus homosexuality is common and practiced there utterly. But in India, it is still a taboo and the society does not like it at all. But still the voice in support of the gays has started echoing in Bollywood industry.

Actress Sonam Kapoor denies reports of having problems with actor Shahid Kapoor and director Punit Malhotra.

It was reported that the 26-year-old, who worked in Malhotra's directorial debut "I Hate Luv Storys", has turned down a film by the young director because he has roped in Shahid, her "Mausam" co-star in the male lead.

However, Sonam took to Twitter to shoot down the reports and wrote: "I'm hearing the funniest rumours about myself! In Thailand, and all I can say is I'm on the floor laughing."

RanbirRanbir-Katrina stage a comeback

Ranbir

Katrina
You know that young, giddy-headed lovers have matured, when they start behaving cordially with each other after their high-profile parting.
When Ranbir and Katrina's split early last year, it was the former's much hyped World Tour that suffered the worst collateral damage. Ranbir called off the tour, saying he had no stage songs. And with the two former lovers refusing to work together, Katrina was struck off from the lineup, even though she had nudged out Deepika Padukone and Sonam Kapoor from the tour.
Well, a lot of water has flown under the bridge. And as a show of maturity both Katrina and Ranbir have decided to work together professionally again and will topline the World Tour lineup. Katrina 's friend has confirmed the developments, adding that she is indeed working out her dates to accompany her former boyfriend to the UK, US and Canada in August this year.

As for Ranbir, a member of the tour production team told Mumbai Mirror, "He has no issues about Katrina's inclusion. Katrina has given her consent."

But will she be comfortable on stage with Ranbir? "Now that remains to be seen," says her friend. "Besides, we do not know how the performances are being planned, whether Ranbir and Katrina will perform together or not."

Katrina's decision to join Ranbir- in whatever capacity- is bound to raise eyebrows.

Readers may recall, not too long ago the actress had opted out of Ayan Mukerji's film starring Ranbir.

Bipasha Basu's fine with multi-starrers

Bipasha Basu has no qualms about working in multi-starrer films and says the only trick to work comfortably with an ensemble cast is to keep one's ego aside.
You should be ready to make some sacrifices in the film. You can't have egos there, she said at the promotional event of her forthcoming film Players.
The 32-year-old has been part of multi-starrers like Race, Bachna Ae Haseeno  and Dum Maaro Dum. Her next Players is yet again a multi-starrer. Apart from Bipasha, Sonam Kapoor, Abhishek Bacchanalia, Neil Nitin Mukesh and Sikander Kher too feature in the cast.
Players a remake of Hollywood hit The Italian Job, releases Jan 6. Bipasha says her co-stars were like her extended family.
When you are working, you are not thinking about male or female co-stars. I would talk about all the co-stars. I am blessed to have such co-stars in the film. It was fun. We travelled extensively for the film, we stayed away from our homes. They became like an extended family, said Bipasha whose infamous spat with Kareena Kapoor at the beginning of her career made headlines.
Meanwhile, Bipasha is working on Jodi Breakers with R. Madhavan, Raaz 3D and Race 2. She is also awaiting release of her Hollywood venture Singularity, starring Josh Hartnett and Abhay Deol.

'I want to wear a bikini, but...' : Sonam Kapoor

Sonam Kapoor
Bollywood and bikinis go a long way.

Katrina Kaif, who kick-started her career as abikini girl in Boom, may have gone for a 'No Bikini' clause for Dhoom 3 for whatever reasons, but bikini seems to be the flavour of the season. All the three heroines of Sajid Khan's Housefull - Deepika Padukone, Lara Dutta and Jiah Khanhad men drooling over them as they were seen prancing around in a two piece on the beach comfortably. Anushka Sharma too has joined the bikini club and she will be seen wearing it in Yashraj Film's (YRF) Ladies v/s Ricky Bahl. YRF had got Esha Deol and Bipasha Basu to wear a two piece swimwear for Dhoom and Dhoom 2 respectively.

Shazahn Padamsee, who joined the Housefull 2 team some time back, is very much keen on donning a bikini, but sadly for her, the film may not require any of its female leads to wear an itsy-bitsy outfit since the film's sequel doesn't demand so. But, the perky actress is hoping that Sajid Khan brings in a twist in the tale and she gets the opportunity to wear a bikini. "I am full on..I am dieting, I am working out, I am fit..bikini dena hai de do," she said recently.

Sonam loves gossiping: Shahid Kapoor

Sonam
When nervous, Sonam Kapoor talks non-stop whereas her co-star Shahid Kapoor is focussed and quiet.

The chalk-and-cheese pair will be seen together on screen for the first time in debutant director Pankaj Kapur's Mausam. Here, Shahid and Sonam talk about their friendship, chemistry and bonding. Read on...

Sonam on Shahid:

Shahid

Somebody once asked me what was the one thing I didn't know about Shahid. I said, 'I know everything!' Opposites generally create intense chemistry. There are more chances of fireworks when different people are together than similar personalities. I like the fact that Shahid is hard-working, he is a gentleman and treats me well. What I don't like about him is that he is too much of a perfectionist.

Usually you have to warm up to your co-star while doing scenes, but with Shahid it happened right from day one. We are still in touch and we know most stuff about each other. We haven't spoken about our friendship and it was presumed that we aren't friends. It is a quiet kind of friendship. We both understand what is happening in our lives. We know what films we are doing next, where we are going to be in the next two to three years.

I rarely make friends in the film industry and Shahid is one of them. He likes talkative girls. We discuss our personal lives but it is better if we keep it to ourselves.
