Ranbir-Shahid team up

Director Pahlaj Nihalani confirmed the news, “I have sounded off Ranbir for Aankhen 2 and I intend meeting Shahid very soon for the same. The only other thing that I can say at this point is that Aankhen 2 will be funnier than my original Aankhen.”
What’s more interesting about the new version of the film is that both the lead actors will star in double roles.
The filmmaker is jotting down the final script and if all goes well, the film will go on floors by the end of this year.

RanbirRanbir-Katrina stage a comeback

Ranbir

Katrina
You know that young, giddy-headed lovers have matured, when they start behaving cordially with each other after their high-profile parting.
When Ranbir and Katrina's split early last year, it was the former's much hyped World Tour that suffered the worst collateral damage. Ranbir called off the tour, saying he had no stage songs. And with the two former lovers refusing to work together, Katrina was struck off from the lineup, even though she had nudged out Deepika Padukone and Sonam Kapoor from the tour.
Well, a lot of water has flown under the bridge. And as a show of maturity both Katrina and Ranbir have decided to work together professionally again and will topline the World Tour lineup. Katrina 's friend has confirmed the developments, adding that she is indeed working out her dates to accompany her former boyfriend to the UK, US and Canada in August this year.

As for Ranbir, a member of the tour production team told Mumbai Mirror, "He has no issues about Katrina's inclusion. Katrina has given her consent."

But will she be comfortable on stage with Ranbir? "Now that remains to be seen," says her friend. "Besides, we do not know how the performances are being planned, whether Ranbir and Katrina will perform together or not."

Katrina's decision to join Ranbir- in whatever capacity- is bound to raise eyebrows.

Readers may recall, not too long ago the actress had opted out of Ayan Mukerji's film starring Ranbir.

Ranbir Kapoor caught in Expo brawl

Ranbir

The 11th edition of the Delhi Auto Expowitnessed the presence of many Bollywood stars who had nothing but praise for the exposition, but not all went well on Tuesday, when Ranbir Kapoor paid a visit to hall number 18.
As usual, the actor was surrounded by a huge crowd of fans, but things got ugly when a group of security guards, who had brought some of their friends hoping to get their pictures clicked with the actor, began to act rowdy. Despite the security guards stationed at the pavilion to keep the crowd at bay, and Ranbir's own security personnel, problems cropped up when he tried to leave the expo. The guards started banging on Ranbir's car bonnet and got into a scuffle with his personal security guards - just for a picture.

Anushka Sharma's starry tantrums

Anushka Sharma
Saturday night, at annual police show Anuksha Sharma threw a full-fledged tantrum because she wanted her act to follow after Aamir Khan and she wasn't allowed to do so.
Says an eye-witness, A line-up of performances had been made by the organisers in the order that it would be telecast on television. When Anushka heard she was not going to perform after Aamir she threw a fit. Organisers of the event, the Morani brothers, were stressed as they had no control over the order.

A source adds, Anushka was having a meltdown because it had been communicated to her that her act would follow Khan's. Last year too the actress had kicked up a fuss during Shabana Azmi's Mizwan event, as she wanted to walk the ramp after Ranbir Kapoor. There wasMalaika Arora Khan and Mallika Sherawat present too but they didn't protest. The source continues, Anushka walked in with her entourage and didn't mix with some stars. She walked in and greeted Aamir but completely ignored Zayed Khan and Shreyas Talpade who were sitting next to Aamir. Anushka's publicist maintains,She didn't throw any tantrum at all. When she came in, Aamir was already performing. It's true that she was to perform after Aamir but then the organisers, the Moranis, requested her to perform after Vishal-Shekhar, Mallika Sherawat and Zayed Khan, and she complied.

Star Of the Week

Ranbir Kapoor
Dressed in ""Rockstar"" film tee, actor Ranbir Kapoor along with director Imtiaz Ali launched ""Rockstar"" film's poster at Padmavathi Hall in Ameerpet in Hyderabad on Monday afternoon.
The duo, who were in town to promote their film, unveiled a 20 foot gigantic poster of the film and spoke about the same to media personnel. Imtiaz Ali, informed that a lot of effort went behind making the film's creatives and posters like the one that was launched in Hyderabad. ""The idea was to make the posters iconic.. posters that retained the vulnerability of being a character larger than life, which a rockstar has to be, even if he doesn't want to be. They have been designed by Rahul Nanda, our publicity manager and all the campaigns are done by hand, by sketches. Real photos haven't been used for the same and the sketches have been done by various artists from around the world,"" he told Hyderabad Times exclusively. ""They're not computer generated graphics as well,"" added Ranbir.
Before launching the poster, the duo visited St Mary's College in Yosufguda to promote their film. Post the poster launch, they will be heading to Old City for a photo-shoot near Charminar before flying back today.
