Mallika Sherawat, who is termed sex goddess in Bollywood industry and even the Hollywood fraternity and international media too coin the same term for this dusky-curvy damsel, has come up for the support of homosexuals. In Hollywood, we often witness the support from almost the entire Hollywood industry for the gays (homosexuals). This is because that this thing has penetrated into their culture and they are the part of this system. Every other Hollywood celeb announce his/her sexuality as gay every other day – many have turned to homosexuality and a lot are turning. US states are making the gays’ marriage legal. Hollywood celebs are people from other walks of life support gays thoroughly. Thus homosexuality is common and practiced there utterly. But in India, it is still a taboo and the society does not like it at all. But still the voice in support of the gays has started echoing in Bollywood industry.

Turning vegetarian seems to be the new fitness mantra among B-Town stars, who are forever preaching the advantages of being vegetarian. 

A source from the unit of Kismat Luv Paisa Dilli says, "Mallika Sherawat has just been voted the sexiest vegetarian female by an animal welfare organisation, and co-star Vivek Oberoi too swears by the benefits of vegetarian food. In fact, Vivek was heard telling the film's assistant directors that being vegetarian keeps you away from heart disease and improves one's rate of metabolism."
If one recollects, Vivek was heard telling people in the past about the hazards of smoking as well, and now Vivek and Mallika are promoting the advantages of vegetarianism.

 Actress Mallika Sherawat has beaten Vidya Balan to the finish line of the 'Sexiest Vegetarian Female' poll conducted by PETA. 
The announcement has come as quite a shock as all hopes were pinned on Vidya Balan - especially after her The Dirty Picture act - to win the coveted title. However, representatives of PETA insist that the verdict is solely based on the votes collected. 
Vidya Balan is known to have re-defined 'sexy' and 'hot' after her popular 'dirty act'. But we guess people had their reasons to vote for the oomphy Mallika Sherawat. 

Dhanush successfully bagged the Sexiest Vegetarian Male award, a tag previously enjoyed by Shahid Kapoor. His Kolaveri Di number took the world by storm. However, the simple Dhanush says, "I'm anything but sexy. But if people think I am, I don't know what to say."

 When I tell her, "Welcome back!" she says, "But I never left!" Mallika Sherawat is in India shooting two films - Sudhir Mishra's Lucky Unlucky and Amit Chandrra's Kismat Love Paisa Dilli with Vivek Oberoi - but says she feels most at home in Los Angeles. "There are lots of suitors, you make the right friendships and they don't judge you there. People don't perceive you with preconceived notions. In India, I feel trapped in my image. People think you are the same way you are on screen. Thankfully, the films I'm doing now will break that myth."

Saturday night, at annual police show Anuksha Sharma threw a full-fledged tantrum because she wanted her act to follow after Aamir Khan and she wasn't allowed to do so. 
Says an eye-witness, A line-up of performances had been made by the organisers in the order that it would be telecast on television. When Anushka heard she was not going to perform after Aamir she threw a fit. Organisers of the event, the Morani brothers, were stressed as they had no control over the order.

A source adds, Anushka was having a meltdown because it had been communicated to her that her act would follow Khan's. Last year too the actress had kicked up a fuss during Shabana Azmi's Mizwan event, as she wanted to walk the ramp after Ranbir Kapoor. There wasMalaika Arora Khan and Mallika Sherawat present too but they didn't protest.The source continues, Anushka walked in with her entourage and didn't mix with some stars. She walked in and greeted Aamir but completely ignored Zayed Khan and Shreyas Talpade who were sitting next to Aamir. Anushka's publicist maintains,She didn't throw any tantrum at all. When she came in, Aamir was already performing. It's true that she was to perform after Aamir but then the organisers, the Moranis, requested her to perform after Vishal-Shekhar, Mallika Sherawat and Zayed Khan, and she complied.

Designer duo Anjalee and Arjun Kapoor opened the Aamby Valley India Bridal Week 2011 at Hotel Sahara Star, Mumbai, with a dazzling Phantom Couture collection. 

Inspired by the Victorian era and the drama of Mughal times, the designers wove together glamour, grandeur and colour into their ball gowns and ethnic wear.

For the finale, Anjalee and Arjun had the sexyMallika Sherawat walk as the showstopper in a jewelled bustier and a bright carrot red panelled lehenga. Mallika said, "What I like about Anjalee and Arjun Kapoor's fashion sensibility is that they are unafraid to experiment. It's exciting to wear a bridal outfit with a twist. I love the romantic look of the lotus concept lehenga. It makes a style statement for any trousseau and signifies luxury for the new age bride."
Jewel tones of ruby, sapphire, emerald and topaz peppered this collection of moulded blouses and fluid voluminous skirts. Delicate lace trimmings edged the creations to highlight the silhouettes. Precious stones like crystals, emeralds, rubies, turquoise and aquamarine glittered on every garment. Menswear consisted of black and white sections with churidars, sherwanis and Jodhpur jackets embellished with gleaming silk and brocades with tonal crystals on the cuffs, shoulders and garments.

Mallika Sherawat akaJalebi Bai is all set to walk the ramp in Mumbai for designer duo Anjalee and Arjun Kapoor on Friday at the Aamby Valley India Bridal Week. The show is titled 'The phantom of the Opera'.
Mallika will don an outfit with gemstone in the colours of love and romance. The collection comprises of the Opera style ball gowns, which is a blend of the authentic Mughal era with sophisticated Victorian sensibility.
Interestingly, The Phantom of the Opera will have a series of shows staring from the Aamby Valley India Bridal week followed by show inLondon at Mint Leaf and Delhi respectively.
Mallika, who has walked the ramp selectively for many designers is considered one of the highest paid celebrities to walk as the showstopper. The show will take place at Sahar Star hotel, Mumbai.
