Latest Update News:-People had not yet got off from Vidya’s sexy image in ‘Ishqiya’ that the lithe beauty is once again all set to play a sex bomb Silk Smitha in Ekta Kapoor’s film titled ‘Dirty Picture’.
The flick is based on Silk Smitha’s real life story who died in 1996 and the death was suspected as a suicide. The lady was entrapped in many troubles like financial problems, disillusionment in love, alcohol dependency and depression. Silk Smitha who was born in Andhra Pradesh with the name as Vijayalakshmi fought with loneliness in last moments of her life.
Speaking about the film, the producer Ekta Kapoor said, “I’ve been waiting for almost two years for the script to be ready. Now my writer Rajat Arora has finally put the finishing touches to the story of a woman who defied all conventions to become a sensation in the South but eventually committed suicide. Let me tell you, this will be my most exhilarating and powerful production ever. It`s about women`s empowerment and the loneliness behind stardom.”
