salman Khan is definitely in top form with all his movies being blockbusters on the box office. There is no doubt that Bodyguard has been declared as the best movie of the year in terms of collections and so far it has collected 141.63 crores in the third week. However, now it looks like that Bodyguard has found its match and people are now tired of watching Bodyguard which is why the collections of Mere Brother Ki Dulhan which is in the second week running is better than that of Bodyguard.
It is understood that Mere Brother Ki Dulhan is fairly new in the theaters and therefore the collection of the movie is better than that of Bodyguard, but you cannot ignore the statistics in the real time. This week Mere Brother Ki Dulhan remains on the top spot and it has managed to collect 12 crores this week. This means that in just ten days period the movie is doing a business of 50 crores which is extremely good considering the fact that it has competition with Salman starrer Bodyguard.

The biggest plus factor of Mere Brother Ki Dulhan is the fresh chemistry between Katrina and Imram and even the triangle factor of Ali Zafar who has performed well in his role. The music of the movie is extremely good and it has the Katrina factor to it along with the typical but different wedding based theme which is hugely popular with Indian audiences who live in rural areas. Mere Brother Ki Dulhan also holds the Yash Raj Films banner which attracts more audiences as Yash Raj Films has the reputation of making blockbuster movies time and again. The movie is certainly doing well in urban as well as rural areas but it will soon find a competition this week as Mausam, Hum Tum Shabana and many other movies hit the silver screen.
